Groundbreaking Scholarship

F&M’s distinguished faculty set the example for groundbreaking scholarship, earning numerous national and international honors, including prestigious grants, fellowships, and career awards from esteemed professional organizations. Among 225 arts and sciences baccalaureate programs in the country (including the top 50 liberal arts schools), F&M currently ranks:

At F&M, we are proud to be recognized by Fulbright as a top-producing institution. This recognition is given to U.S. colleges and universities that received the highest number of applicants selected for a Fulbright program in a particular year. F&M has received this honor nine times in the past decade.
